Is there anyone that knows of a list that describes the OBDII PIDs for the Gen5 Viper?

I'm going to track this weekend so I'm trying to set up my logger.

OBD-II is a standard - as such, most of them are standard regardless of make/model. There are some that are vehicle dependent, but it probably won't matter for what you are trying to do.

You will only be able to log very basic things - the Gen 4/5 Vipers don't report much through the OBD-II port unless you modify it to do so. What are you hoping to log?

I was hoping to be able to log Brake Pressure or Brake Pedal position. Tire Pressure would also be sweet if possible though I realize that is a long shot :)

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you'll be getting any of that off the OBD-II port.

You have to install a brake pressure sensor in a brake line to get brake pressure on your logger. You cannot get it off the OBD II stream as far as I know and I've tried. A vendor on here from the Pittsburgh, PA area can fill you in. I am not sure of their name though, maybe the name is Complete Performance. Sucks getting old. They are very familiar with the AIM system (you don't say which system you are using but the OBD II stream is the same regardless) and what sensors you need. You can get throttle off of the OBD II feed.

@OP, who's data logger are you using?
I use VBOX HD2 connected to the ODB2 connector, instead of using the ODB2 protocol, they read the CANBUS data directly, which has the brake pedal switch position.

I'm using Racechrono Pro on my iPhone. To get the data from OBD2 I use a KIWI 3/4.

With that combo, you're limited to what's available in the ODB2 protocol. If you want expanded support, you need to use equipment from companies like Racelogic or AIM. The AIM SoloDL2 & Smarty-CAM combo is a reasonable entry point.

For example, below is what my HD2 logs.
Note:
- This version of the vehicle database is an expanded version. For example item 20 is not part of their normal Viper dB.
- Item 28 is a math-channel calculation since a gear sensor isn't available.
- Remaining items read from the CANBUS.

Looks like you can now log oil pressure? Can you expand non this a bit?

@kriskyk Oil pressure PID was always avaiable. The database file I'm using is an expanded version based on standard Racelogic Viper dB available on their website.
The folks at Racelogic was kind enough to provide the expanded canbus PIDs.

I am looking for 3 PIDs (and the associated equations) for a Gen 3 (2005) to add to the custom PID list in Torque Pro connected to the ECU through an OBD-II Bluetooth Adapter.

1. Oil Temperature
2. Oil Pressure
3. Fuel Pressure

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

There was a forum member selling a self contained Witech package that will give all the G5 pids, plus allow you to do some diagnreostics.
