ck your oil and ps lines for leaks, check the trans fluid and the shifting , the trans are known for slipping a bit, other than that, get a tuner , have a blast.

I sure miss my my 05 Reg cab SRT-10. Getting harder to find nice low mileage examples.

Congratulations. The quad cab SRT 10 needs a tune. Dodge really dialed back the torque curve and the engine begs to be freed up! I had one from Dan Cragin on my '05 quad cab SRT 10.

The SCT is the best one. Both Chris Jensen (chris@christuned.com) and Torrie (Unleashed Tuning) do a good job at tuning these trucks. With you being up there by Tator's you might want to give him a call.

I had an '04 and traded it almost 3 years ago. Missed it so much I had to get another 6-speed Viper V10, my current '06 VOI9 coupe. Feel like I never shoulda got rid of my Viper truck, either, though. Enjoy!

I choose the quad cab so the family can use it,didn't need another garage queen.

be sure to have the trans checked , the bands usually need adjusting, swap over to the gm governor pressure sensor also, one of the popular things right now is doing the six speed swap to a manual, enjoy the ride the qc's are a blast!

Same here. I traded it in to get my vert. If I had the funds I would have kept it. 2006 with only 23K on it.

The only 'issue' I have seen repeat is w/ 6-manual ..... the OE clutch fluid can get too hot on spirited and/or long drives. Upgrade to hi-temp fluid, and maybe shield/insulate the lines. Oh, and the Credit Card needs to be wide-open for the fuel cost! Every few (6-8) tanks DO run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner thru the tank. VIPERS TOO!

It's a QC so it's an auto, no worries about clutch fluid although I'm on my third trans with my 05 QC.
