Hey guys, I am hoping some of the gurus on here can shed some light on my car. I bought a white 2014 GTS from a dealer a few years back and it has every option the TA 1.0 had in 2014: Carbon fiber front splitters, carbon fiber rear spoiler, two-mode Bilstein Damptronic suspension, track spec alignment, Sidewinder II wheels, Corza's and Stoptech rotors. The only option that is missing is the carbon fiber x-brace and TA stickers. The fact that it's a GTS has me wondering how it fits into the "official" TA heritage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure I understand the question. Its a GTS. The heritage ends there. You can add modifications to a car all day long but that doesnt change what it is. The best argument that could be made is its modified to be similar to a TA 1.0 but there are more differences than the ones you mentioned. For example the interiors and interior stitching is different in the TA models than a GTS.

Was your question related to value? Or more differences? Im unsure what information you are seeking. Want to help but not sure how.

If you will post your VIN# we can tell for sure.

TA's also have Brembo two piece rotors, heavier sway bars, carbon firer cross brace. The TA group option that you probably have about $9000 less than the TA package that made the car a TA. A TA is an optioned SRT not a GTS. TA also have orange stitching on the interior and they are numbered.
What you have is a GTS with TA areo. So no it does not fit into the official heritage.

Ok, thanks guys. The Stoptech and adjustable Bilsteins is what threw me. The original owner went all out on the options then.

Yeah, sounds like a TA package. Pics?

You have a GTS which came standard with the 2 mode suspension, plus the Track pack option for Sidewinder 2 wheels, Corsa tires and Stoptech 2 piece rotors. Also the aero group option which added the front splitters and back spoiler.

My 14 GTS is like that too, it was fairly common that year. Only mine had regular PZeros and not Corsas.

It makes me feel less guilty to be on the track in a fully loaded GTS!

I agree his is a GTS, but when talking about the option cost you should include the base cost before option. A GTC was a higher base price than a SRT. Few GTC with a TA option group had lower MSRP than a TA. Talk exclusivity, number and all that but you lose the cost argument.

Hard to get to the computer ( since I am staying at home and not going in to work )with the Virus , or I would help you. Just call your local Dealer and ask him if he can get you an option sheet through Service. You likely have a GTS with the Aero Package, but that is still a substantial machine and welcome to VOA.

What he said. It sounds like a highly optioned GTS but it's not a special edition.
