Does anyone else have or had an obnoxious rattle from the windshield vent in the dash, and have any guidance on what to look for? I am going to try and pop the grill out with a trim tool here later in the week, but it seems like it is the actual vent under that

I have the same issue. Occurs at low rpm while cruising around. I haven't bothered to tear it up to fix it.

yep, exactly, don't notice it at highway speeds, only certain rpm range seems to trigger it

Are you sure it's the dash? I've got a rattle and it's definitely the parking brake handle button. I just put my finger on it when it's rattling a lot. I saw another member had this same issue and it was replaced under factory warranty.

yeah I have that one as well. This one if I stick my finger through the grill into the vent I can get it to stop, so definitely coming from there lol

Gotcha. That vent trim piece is pretty simple to remove. This video covers the removal of that trim piece.

Yes, I have this rattle on my Gen III. It seems to be the defroster vent which is below the grille. The defroster vent seems not to be attached to anything, the grille goes over it, and I guess is supposed to hold it in place, but does not, so the vent can move around. I have tried Velcro but I need to do more to totally eliminate it.
