Been looking at these cars since I was a kid. Had the posters, the models, etc. Used to post on the VCA website when I was in school. Finally at a point in life where I could make this a reality. Looking for a Gen V GTS, budget is on the light side, prefer to keep around 70k. Ideally want a launch edition for the color scheme but that looks out of budget. Black/silver or red/silver is second choice. Gotta have stripes. Sidewinder II's are preferred. Prefer the Laguna interior, black. 18 speakers desired. Came across this one that checks all the boxes and looking for feedback. Anyone know this car? Dealer says engine was replaced due to R28. Carfax looks a little convoluted as car was auctioned at one point and mileage isn't reported well.

If this looks good, anyone in the area that would be good to perform PPI? Thanks for any feedback and stay safe!

Hey, Hootie. You sound like me. :)
Here is a beauty that I probably would have purchased had the deal fell through on the one I picked up. It's not a GTS but has some very nice options. I emailed them and they will take $75k.

What part of the country are you in?
Good luck in your search. :)

I'm in NJ, closer to Philly. I could live without stripes, as I would just get vinyl put on after, but I want the interior features and suspension on the GTS. I won't track it, my commute is literally 45 minutes in a straight line on one road.
But you want what you want and I'd like to have a Viper. Thanks for the suggestion though. While the SRT vs GTS isn't a huge deal in reality, I just don't think I'd have the same emotional connection without the GTS. Same with stripes. That's how I've always loved them, and always will. I'd rather buy a car from a member that took care of it and has a good history, but for my budget I'm gonna be rolling the dice on a low ball and don't want to buy into a lemon.

Any recommendations for a PPI near this car? I'd like someone with Viper knowledge to go over it before I travel down there myself.

'near this car' ....... Asking for a ___ SC inspection? Hint: Start a new thread with that inquiry as subject
Good Luck

That GTS you posted has the track pack, which was 2 piece slotted rotors, SWII's and corsa tires ($3500). It also looks like it has the Laguna interior package, $7500 option. Definitely spec'd nicely, good luck with your hunt.

I hate that...I tried to buy one from Viper Exchange, they told me it was for sale so I went in to buy it, and when I got there they told me they had actually sold it 30 minutes before I pulled up...I was totally bummed, it was a real similar car to this one you were looking at, but had red interior. Long story short I found an all Black GT with way less miles for less money and haven't looked back. Just slowly adding the carbon stuff.
