I barely got a chance to drive the car since I picked it up late last year, but did do some cosmetic changes and a tune. So, here goes;
The car had the full ARH headers/exhaust package, and coming from a straight piped GTS, it was just not loud enough for me. I did not want to go catless in fear of the smell, so cut the mufflers out. The sound was unbearable. I drove the car for 20 miles and had enough. Cold start was just extremely annoying. Lucky for me, Lou Belanger is in the valley, so called him, went over to his shop, had him weld me the required pipework to his muffler and was out in under two hours. He is a true craftsman and has extreme attention to detail. It was fun watching him work. Big difference with the Belangers on, personally, I could go louder, but not gonna mess with it now.

Ron [outnumbered] had the full front PPF on the car, but having driven it in rain right after, there was some pealing and there were some exposed areas that I was not comfortable with knowing how rock chip happy AZ is. Also given how much I drive, figured it would be best to protect this beautiful orange color.
- Removed old PPF from full hood, bumper, mirrors, side rockers
- Full paint correction
- Full body PPF – Suntek
- Ceramic coating, including glass and wheels

- Windshield tinted 80% ceramic film

Andy [Anatoly V] produces a smaller version of diffusers which in my opinion suit the TA ducktail wing better without overdoing it. So, I added those and love them.

Next up was to get the car tuned for 91 octane. The tune from Vengeance was for 93 octane and I had a feeling there was more in it. So, rather than having Vengeance send me a file for 91, I got talking to Torrie for any additional magic he could do. Bought the HP tuners MPVI2 interface and credits, did some data logging and sent files to Torrie. The Vengeance racing tune was 648 RWHP and in the back of my mind, I was hoping for ~30 RWHP more with the tune [so it could be closer to my license plate (still the goal)].
Torrie works with Black Market Racing here in Phoenix to remote tune cars, so made the appointment. To my surprise, the first pull here in AZ was a mere 622 RWHP. 91 octane, ugh, but I had my fingers crossed as I kept data logging and sending files to Torrie.
We did 6 pulls and with each file we saw more power. With my primary goal of good street manners and driving year round including AZ summer, he felt it was a perfect balance and safe setting at 666.72 RWHP and 620 lb-ft. That is where we ended.

I am very happy with the tune and customer service from Torrie. The driving characteristic has improved ten fold, throttle response is better, leaving from a stop is much smoother and the RPMs drop quickly too vs being lazy. I am going to enjoy the car as-is for a while before exploring options for more power.
As I started drafting this post this am, I remembered I wanted to add spacers. Just cannot stand how tucked in the front wheels are. Car is already lowered with IPSCO lowering caps. Called Mark at IPSCO and ordered the .420 hub centric spacers and extended lugs. Cannot wait for those to get here on Saturday.
I want to do something different for the wheels, but not yet sure what route I want to take. For now, the SWIIs will do.
A few more pics and a walk-around video to end the post.

Anil, the car looks fantastic!!! However, take it from someone that has had 6 sets of wheels between three Gen V's. The SWII's are just about perfection. Don't go chasing a set in an attempt to look better than what you have. Outside of being different (which the Viper already is) you will waste time and money. Ultimately you would likely return to the Sidewinders anyway!
P.S., I told you Torrie was the man......and doing it with 91 octane!

That's a gorgeous car.
The car looks great. It looks like you left the stock cats on it. I would highly recommend changing them to Jon B’s high flow cats. They do not raise the sound to an obnoxious level (gives it a beefier sound) and they do make the car run cooler. It completely eliminates the heat from the rockers and cabin

I agree on the tucked in wheels. I hate that on mine... On those IPSCO .420 hub centric spacers and extended lugs do you just do the front? The site does not specify but I assume it's for the front only right? The rear never bothered me nearly as much as the front.

Coming from the wheel man himself, I will go with what you said. Yes, you did point me in the right direction with Torrie :)

Ron purchased them from xTREME. Same place I got the CF vents.

Dennis, I will DM you Andy's contact.

Don't recall exactly. But just enough to not have issues with night driving. I used the same film on the side and rear markers, but you will notice those don't appear as dark as the headlights.
~9k, which included removing the existing film in front. 10yr warranty on PPF, 5 years on ceramic.

I ordered both front and rear, Mark thought that would be best. But if the rears hang out too much or rub, I can always return them.
Very nice, what did you use to tint the headlights?
Same Suntek PPF film, or could've been different. Not sure.

They did, and admittedly even though they have arguably the fastest 1/4 mile Viper in existence, their experience tuning a H/C car is nowhere near the level of Torrie. I had always planned to have Torrie tune if I had kept it. However, I will tell you their level quality, and overall attention to detail is second to none, period.

Agree with Ron. Overall quality from Vengeance is top notch.

I was actually talked out of doing that by a wise soul here on the forum. As you know, I wasn't a fan of the really small looking 18" up front. However, looking back at all my pics, along with the pics of other cars, going with the 19" up front really takes away from the natural rake stance of the Viper. Having the lowering caps up front helps, and putting the Toyo R888's helps even more. So I have decided to leave well enough alone. I will either sell the two rears that I have, or I will put drag radials on them for the track.

Car looks great, and I agree with Ron that the 18" front is the natural fit for this car. Always looks so good in photos with a proper sized tire on there, whereas the 19" looks a bit strange struggling to get a rubber band tire on there. I say stick with the 18/19 setup. I also agree that finding a better looking wheel than the SWII is tough. However, the Forgeline GTD1 is terrific, and I see that BC Forged had a great looking Viper wheel recently.

I think you guys have a point here. I will stick to the 18/19 config. There are a couple HRE's I like too. However, with the spacers coming in tomorrow, and not having the tucked in look, I may be good with the SWIIs.
