Hello everyone.
I’m totally “green” in relation to a Viper....
Have a wrecked car, that i will pull the motor from to put in another car that’s being rebuild...
Would like to hear it running before pulling it out.
Have no FOB’s and the immobiliser is active...
Have tried to disconnect cables in the engine bay and when reconnecting, everything starts flashing....
Is there a way to disable/disarm without FOB?
It’s from 1998 and the VIN is: 1B3ER65E4WV401325
Can anyone help with this?

Thank you in advance. :)

There is a key hole in the glove box. Give that a turn and it should disable the alarm.

As RedGTS correctly pointed out, this is a good first step. This works on INTACT cars...noting that with time, heat from tranny, and some home-spun mods (such as careless installation of racing harnesses, racing seats, speaker change) this rather delicate switch can be damaged. Hopefully, you will have good luck.

IF that does not work, feel free to call me about another approach that works on INTACT cars. 317-402-9013

Do not be offended if I quiz you a bit ( as I do others NEW to these Forums) in my attempt to avoid giving alarm-defeat-info to any potential car thieves. :)

Beyond my limited bag of tricks, you may have to contact folks who understand transplanting Viper engines into other vehicles.

I can remove the security form the computer if needed for testing. We do that on our Viper street rod engine conversions where the alarm is not used.
