Looks like the prices of the Gen V are appreciating as the other Gen's are plateauing. The desire for an exotic supercar with manual transmission have helped increase our Gen V prices!

That looks good - but there are a lot of variables with the Gen V that (other than the Gen IV) are different and make it hard to determine a trend. You've got special editions, ACRs, ACR-Es, Stryker one-of-ones, etc. It's hard to compare apples to apples with these cars when the option packages are all over the place. If five Gen V ACR-E cars sell with very desirable option packages, that's going to skew the numbers real quick. A Gen II, on the other hand, is going to be valued on its condition and mileage - and most of the cars (except for relatively minor differences) are pretty much the same.

Same thing happened with GT2's. You can buy one today for about the same dollar amount as 15-17 years ago after they saw a 3-5 year bump then went down. The biggest sale I know of was at an auction for a ton. That car recently sold for, well, less than 2/3's. Things will change and go up, but is that the reason?
Buy the car(s) you LOVE for whatever reason you LOVE it. Then enjoy it. Talk to it. Smile as you walk by in the morning and evening if you don't daily drive it. Pinch yourself because you own one increasing rare vehicle that you lusted after for so long. Money is always something to be sceptical of when your passion is at stake.....

Very well said. Even a healthy flip only results in money.

See my separate post. Regrettably, Gen V sucked the hind titty in an auction where shot is bringing $50-100K all day long today. Unbelievable.
