On my datalogs I’m reading 14.1-14.3 MAL at WOT leading me to believe I don’t have enough manifold. I have a Lingenfelter Cut and Port G2 Intake and curious to know if a ported G3 is worth pursuing.

I have a 236/240 .61X/ .61X cam, GGood Ported G3 heads 10.3 comp. car made 586 on Mainline and 567 on Dyno Jet

Yes.

How do you know? I have spent a lot of time trying to find some info from various forums.
Not a lot!

What are you logging with the engine off at WOT? Point being atmospheric offset for your local altitude/barometric pressure. Basically log your key-on readings and compare to running WOT readings. Should be the same.

I doubt your manifold is the issue. My 542 Lingenfelter car has the same manifold with a larger cam, Striker heads, and 10.8 compression (684whp) and has no noticeable issues with the manifold.

Good to know, I want to break into the 600 whp club and just don’t know how to get there.
