It's not "for 109K" that's just what the starting bid is.

Yep. but it ends in an hour. You think there's going to be a frenzy? I bet $109K gets it.

Nice car. Good colors. 24,400 miles so it has been enjoyed for sure. I bet it doesn't sell for anywhere near $109K though, higher I think.

FYI, $115,000 took it about 2 months ago but I believe the buyer couldn’t come up with financing. The seller was good to talk to, answered lots of questions about the car when I talked to him.
Someone get this!

Yeah, that's pretty surprising nobody picked that thing up for $109k!!!!

Part of it is just the time of year. This just isn't ACR driving weather - my car is at the shop, and today we got a cold rainstorm and there's no way I'm driving that thing up into the mountains during the first rain of the season and sub 40 degree temps. That's just asking for trouble, so at the dealership it stays (not that they're done with it anyhow, so no harm no foul).

We should start a pool on how much it will sell for. Everyone put in $5 and pick a price. Person that is closest (high or low) wins. Who's in? Besides maybe someone with a high pool choice will step up and buy the car just so then win the pool. :t0122:

I do think the higher than usual mileage and the term "countless rallies" may lead some to believe that there are a lot of track miles on the unit.
Beautiful car none the less.

The price may be a little low, but not ridiculously so. It is a 2016, non-GTC (missing some creature comforts), I would say good -- not amazing -- colors, but high mileage for the model and apparently has some imperfections. The car likely windowed at $130k, so a $20k discount is not insane.
If it had sub 5k miles and was pristine, then it should sell for the sticker. 2017's are getting above sticker, and then you get into the SE's and unusually good 1-of-1 cars (i.e. stryker purple) that should easily get very healthy premiums.

I agree. Might not have been the best choice of wording to be honest. I translate it as lots of rock chips and nicks as well as the aforementioned wheel rash. Those are not insignificant repairs if you are buying as a cars and coffee show vehicle. You would be amazed how difficult it can be to sell a 100K+ car now and this one is far from a pristine example.

On the plus side, it's a super common and easy to fix color. If a car with any Stryker colors had rock chips, I'd stay away unless it was a fantastic deal... Repairing Stryker colors almost always (there's got to be an exception, but I've yet to hear it) requires a trip back to Prefix, which can be very painful to the wallet.
I'm not so concerned about rallies, but the wheel damage is somewhat of a red flag. Qualified tire shops shouldn't be damaging the wheels... But, for a track car, this one looks like a good deal.

I never get tired of seeing Randy behind the wheel. Only thing missing from that video is his heel/toe footwork.

Vipers must be at low demand this time a year. Just saw a fully loaded 2014 viper gts sell for $71,400 on eBay . All carbon fiber options , stripes and sidewinder wheels. If I would have waited I probably would have bought.

Looks like he's talking about this car- https://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Dodge-Viper-/113983331699
There's another 2014 on there that's been for sale at $67K for a long time, looks like a really nice car. Red.

I am convinced that most people that are trying to sell Vipers have no clue how to truly sell them for what they are worth.

Now down to $105K! Has 80K extended warranty, great price imo. Or send it to Prefix for a 9.0 and have a badass track car for $130K

Once you add a new clutch, shipping, and the other goodies you would no doubt want the price goes up fast. A friend just spent close to $50k on his TA 9 liter with Prefix. This included shipping, nth Moto Clutch, trans/diff cooler, headers, exhaust coating, etc.

If you're on a budget could just do Calvo heads/cam for $13K for over 700whp. That doesn't include exhaust though.

I bought it outside of ebay, they pulled the auction because we'd already closed a deal.
I won't disclose the price, but I did get a great deal :)

I wish! I got an extremely fair deal, and the condition was much better than I was expecting based on his description. Paint defects are very very small and can be touched up easily since it's a solid color car, and the whole front has clear bra. Very nice car all around.

Congratulations! Looks awesome. Other than TA Orange the Red with black (or white stripe) or the GTS blue with white stripes are my favorite color combos.

Congrats and welcome! What are you plans? Keep it stock? Track it?

Already ordered all the interior carpets and 18 speaker upgrade (can't live without it after my SRT, and I drive my cars often). I'll do some track days, then it'll get turbos in the next 12-18 months. I'm not much of a purist, which is why I'm happy to have a car that's been driven and enjoyed.

If you get turbos, say bye to the track days! hehe. Unless it's drag racing stuff.
Keep us updated!!!

Congratulations, great purchase! And the fact that you're happy to have an ACR that have been driven and enjoyed....and will be enjoyed even more...makes you a purist in that regard. :witless: Turbos....makes you a hero! LOL. Enjoy that beast!
