Recently had my windshield replaced (that nightmare is another subject) and when I got the car back several months later the battery was a bit weak. I always keep it on a CTEK but it is a 2015 that stays in storage quite a bit with only 13K miles since new. So I replaced the battery- easy in/out 10 minute swap.
Now the fun stuff. My SRT pages do not work anymore- says I need to start a subscription to uconnect or some junk and then says my link to uconnect doesn't work. In addition if I sync the clock to GPS it is several hours off. Now for the real cool part. Using my NAV this weekend it rarely showed me on the correct road. When the highway was the only thing for miles it threw me there, but then would show me out in the middle of no where and try to recalculate.
I've done a soft reset by holding down the two knob buttons- have done that 6 times over the past three days.
So question is, By replacing the battery did it jack something up that is a simple update at the dealer? This couldn't be caused by the windshield replacement could it? To my knowledge the GPS antenna is in the rear hatch not the front windshield electronics cluster.
Thanks in advance for the advise and opinions.

sounds like some of the issues I had after failing to successfully update the system. (GPS off / time /SRT pages etc.) Dealer update resolved all issues. You can download the latest update (there are two - be sure to get the correct one(s) for your radio model/year). The website for the downloadable update was posted in the forms a few days ago. Hope this helps. Try drive www.uconnect.com

While I cannot tell you how it is done, there has been a post concerning restoration of SRT pages without subscribing to uconnect.
Our 2014 Viper keeps asking me to update system...and I keep resisting. So far, things still work.
As to the nav...my 2017 Chrysler 300S has done the exact same thing as yours...nav map has me 3 counties to northwest, clock is wrong as is compass. Attempts to reset have failed. While in for an oil change a few weeks ago, tech said nav correction would take a couple of hours. I passed for now. It is my opinion that these are crappy systems.

I received a call from FCA earlier this week in regards to my Uconnect and the nav. While I dont have nav for my Uconnect the message said something about the nav system is off and an update would be necessary to correct the issue. Just food for thought.

The GPS in my 17 ACR started to act up while I was on the One Lap of America. Had me driving through lakes an fields even though I was on an interstate. An SRT engineer that was on the event told me to disconnect the battery for at least 5 minutes and reconnect it. Some of the car's computers can take at least that long to lose their residual charge. After doing this, my GPS was fine. Maybe try this and see if that corrects your issues.

I had the same thing happen to mine after windshield replacement, i have a nick in my paint on the passenger side and etched areas in the new glass, and bad radio reception. The gps did the same thing but remedied itself a week later.

TexasTonka, Sorry I can't help you with your problem. But I was wondering if you had any words of wisdom for a fellow GEN 5 owner about to do a windshield replacement.

I had Safelite replace my ACR's windshield in their shop not in my garage or driveway. They put their best guy on it and I used an OEM windshield. Not cheap but it came out perfectly.

Coincidently, the exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I was driving in the ocean for two hours. Lol.
It is definitely not battery or windshield replacement related for me. I did the two knob rest 5 times and it finally corrected itself. I checked Uconnect and there is 1 update available for me. I'm not anxious to try it. I would like to read other opinions too.
