I have been thinking of putting my Gen IV ACR in storage for the next 8-9 years give or take until I have moved out of California. Short answer is I am just not driving the car on the street maybe ~500 miles a year and between smog/insurance and general crappy roads in California I figured I would just hold onto it until we move out of state. I intend to get a non modified convertible for summer use and keep it stock for the time in-between.
Anything special for putting a viper down for a long time. The plan was just pull the battery connect and let it sit, fire it up every 6-9 months and let it idle and burn out any water buildup in the oil and oil changes every 3-4 years give take. Anything else I need to do. It will be stored up on one of my 4 post lifts and the tires I have on it are trashed so having them go out of round is not a real issue.

Sounds like you need to make it a track car and just drive it at the track.
Storing a car for 10 years is never ideal, and you'll end up replacing hoses, gaskets, batteries, etc.

It is my track car but its now modified so far beyond my ability to actually exploit its a little nuts. Add in restricted noise days, my personal schedule and finding groups where I can actually run at speed and still learn anything its been a bit much. I have a much easier time running the Miata or the Porsche. All of my engine hoses have already been replaced with AN fittings.

Treat it like a boat. Desiccant inside to keep moisture from stinking up the fabrics, fog the cylinders/ any gearbox that’s susceptible to raw air/ no oil slinging, plan on all the rubber bits being shot in a few years (including tires), and pull the battery. This would be assuming you’re really not going to touch it but once a year. I personally would make a point to drive it at least a little and get the oils/ greases moving around on a regular basis, but using fogging oil can prevent rust on parts not in constant contact with the respective oils.

What's all been done to it to make it a little nuts? I want that.

This thread is confusing. 500 miles/year is a lot of miles. I do maybe 1,000 miles/year in my viper, 500 miles/year in my Murcielago and 50 miles/year, if that, in my porsche 917.

Agreed.
I've put 1700 miles on my car in 3 years.
