Finally got a chance to install the cool shirt system in the TA. Can't wait to try it out at the track a couple of weeks, forecasted temps to be in the mid to high 90s. Not the prettiest install, but needs to be portable enough to move between the TA and ACR.
Mounted to the panel. Panel secured to the vehicle with 4 bolts(1 per corner) screwed to rivet nuts. For now the air duct is wedges to the passenger seat, but will come up with a better solution later. May cut the tube used by the brake duct and use a splitter for a cleaner install. I'll need to weight the entire assembly but most of the parts are pretty light. The base is carbon fiber, along with the side duct. The heaviest component is the cooler followed by the fan. The 40amp circuit breaker acts as the main power switch. Power and ground cables fed through the panel connected with a 2 conductor disconnect plug. The remote controller is velcro strapped to the handlebar at the center console area.

One drawback, is the outboard fan/blower is very loud, doubtful I'll care once at the track with a helmet on.

Below are a few pics.

That looks awesome. is that presumably because you took out the air conditioning components of car?

Very cool man!
Have you seen this? https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2019/07/29/sony-117-wearable-air-conditioner-could-cool-you-summer-heat-waves/1855108001/
It uses the "Peltier effect" to cool your whole body. It's going to be $120 but won't ship until March. I'm going to give it a try for sure.

I'm not sure that wearable "AC" will work for track work. The Peltier effect isn't how it cools your body, its the way the chip inside the unit can either get hot or cold depending on how the DC polarity is applied. This is exactly how the those cheap electric ice chest coolers that you plug into the cigarette lighter work...many allow you to flip the connection thus reversing polarity and causing the ice chest to become a food warmer. The idea is putting something cold on a specific spot on your body can fool you into thinking you feel cooler. Think of taping a very small ice cube (about the size of a dime) that doesn't melt against your body. The reality is it will not lower your body temperature and lessen dehydration so you need to be careful into a false sense of security if high temps effect you negatively while on track.

If you had enough of the Peltier plates connected to a wearable vest against your body, then yes, it would then physically cool you like a traditional cool vest or the chill out system. The problem is, Peltier systems are very power hungry. Most small electric ice chests that you would buy at Walmart or Camping World consume around 13 watts for a single Peltier chip. You would probably need close to a 1000 watts of energy and the vest would be very stiff, heavy and bulky. Here is another gimmick on the body AC that connects to your wrist.

Personally, I would save your money as these Peltier powered products really don't lower your temp and I honestly don't think the battery life is going to be anywhere close to what is advertised.

I have a very similar system on a new Corbin seat (Fire and Ice) on my HD Ultra.
Works great there.

I'll risk the $130 and see if it helps at all. lol. Battery life isn't a concern as sessions are 15 minutes max. If it doesn't do what it says, I doubt Sony would want to be a part of it. But we'll see... It can't hurt.

@Arizona Vipers,

If the wearable peltier plates option does work out for you and price isn't a deterrent, the Rinitech system is smaller and lighter than the Chillout package.

Nice. If I do race group I think I'll just go with the normal Cool Shirt and Ice box. I bring a lot of ice for my drinks anyway. They seem to work well for everyone here in Arizona.
When is your next track event?
