Tidbit......The SRT10 shown is not factory-pinned for a 5-point as shown. Did the installer drill a hole in the floor-pan?

Since 2005 most race-sanctioning bodies require a 6-point or better. 6pt is a LOT safer in a rollover, and easier on the gonads.... 5-points can 'de-glove' the family jewels.

Dodge [and most racers] knew this 5 years beforehand, so Gen 3-4-5 are all pinned for 6pt.

And 6pt are EASIER to install !

But a 5 is better than nuttin.....

I have rolled many times with a 5 point in my off road life and never damage the jewels. Just make sure your lap and shoulders belts are snugged good and tight. I have the team tech harness in my ACR and will say it is the most comfortable harness I have ever wore, but the crotch straps do rub on the legs a little during a daily drive when wearing shorts. Yeah not designed for the street, but if you drive it between track events it matters.

We recommend the 6 point exclusively as many Clubs are pushing them over the 5 point for the safety reasons Jon mentioned. The esthetics seem to be a bigger concern for Viper owners , as no need for drilling with the proper belt set up using a 6 pt. harness.

That said , yours do look great and will agree a 5 point is heads above a 4 point , which I would never suggest, personally.
