I actually like the lines of a rear mid engine Viper and would have had interest is seeing the project go forward to production. Not sure financially if it would have made much sense to Chrysler but would have drawn some interest to the brand as a whole.

The next attempt with the ME412 was a better solution, but Daimler couldn't be upstaged by a Chrysler/American product.

+1 for the ME412...back then there wasn't as much demand for supercars I don't think...but today it would sell like hotcakes. Revive the ME412!!!

So true. I loved how incredible the ME412 looked. It looked incredibly fast while parked. It was ahead of it's time.
