I thought Dorman made these now.
They are used in 1996+ MoPar minivans.
This would be my 3rd repair. I wonder.... I keep buying the cheap ones on eBay, maybe I should use the dealer part???

There was an ebayvendor years ago that made an upgrade clip in steel with a nylon insert for the contact patch with the rails. I can't find any on ebay now.

Steel would be the bomb!
I was hoping to leave on a cross country trip (NV to PA) and this stupid regulator shuttle broke. This would be my 3rd or 4th replacement. I don't think the ones on eBay are strong enough.
One ad said this part was not available from the dealer. I went to Mopar Parts Giant and the minivans that are supposed to use it (96-00) had nothing that looked even close. So I'm not sure what common car they come from.
I still think Dorman or NAPA had them the last time.

I would clean and lube your regulator and tracks.

Most definitely do some guide rail maintenance! The grease in the tracks is dry and stiff, which compounds the likelihood of guide clip failure.

I replaced my passenger side one with one from Amazon several years ago and it has been working fine ever since. I still have a spare one kicking around in case my drive side fails.

Ryan at Don Scharf had them ready for you yesterday, as I emailed you, but he did not hear from you......

What lubricant do you recommend for the window tracks?

I use a lithium-based white grease.

Thanks Dean.
Do you think this is the same lube that they used at the factory?
I don't want to use any solvent to clean the dried out original product. I only want to wipe it and apply new. So the material should be the same.

I would suspect so, but don't know for sure. I would suggest some solvent on the rag you use to clean the tracks. You don't want solvent residue causing the new lube to run off.

Anyone replace the window tracks? New tracks make window behave like it is on ball bearings. I have 90k on my GTS and this will be my 3rd regulator fix. I'm sure new tracks would 2-5x increase the failure interval.
Honda Genuine Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease? Supposed to be miracle stuff.
Jon B, I totally missed the "he needs to act in next 3 hours" part. I had to make the decision to leave for PA w/o fixing window when I took door cover off and found I could manually assist the mechanism and get the window up or down.
