Hi,
Perhaps someone who has either ordered 18" wheels for their ACR could tell me the barrel diameter required to clear the CERAMIC brakes OR measure the inside of a dismounted ACR wheel (saving me the trouble;-)
I'm considering buying a set of 18" BBS centres and having wheels made...which I believe can be made to any size but there may be a limit.
Thanks for the help!

I've had many sets of Finnspeed and Forgeline's built in 18" for the ACR. You would need to have a good company build these for you, which they already know the measurements. Trust me, the gap to the caliper is so tiny even on a specific built wheel (a couple millimeters) you aren't going to find any 18" wheels that will work unless they were built specifically for this application. Even then be prepared for barrel scoring from rocks being stuck between the caliper and wheel barrel. What tires are you going to run?

I have a set of 18" forgelines made for my ACR still in the box. Sadly though I don't have any measurement equipment that can measure this close enough to be of any use. I may eventually sell them or use them this fall. If you have any suggestions on how to measure accurately I'll do it but all I have is a tape.

There's a set of 6-hole BBS (like E88) centres for sale and the gent selling them said they will custom make barrels for them to whatever spec I want. The centres were from a set o 18" wheels on a Gen II. So I could go 18" front and 19" rear. I'm assuming that the spun barrel of a 3-piece wheels will be thinner than a forged wheel? I could be wrong.
Tire wise these would be for street tires. I'm a Michelin fanboy.

My BC-Forged RZ39 18x11, ET +40 measured: 446mm (17.56") diameter at the scoring lines. Used a measuring tape clothing, not really sure how accurate it is.

If this is for street use, I highly recommend 19" wheels. The 18" barrels will look like crap from rock scoring

This is what my RZ39 looks like after 10 track days on the ACR.

BC-Forged RZ39, it's the strongest wheel they make. Barrel to Caliper clearance measured at 1.97mm. I recall reading from Brembo, they recommend 3mm caliper clearance.
Wheel weights need to be installed outside the caliper plane.

Yep on the wheels weights, ask me how i know! LOL. What do they weigh? I started with Finnspeeds, then got a set of Forgeline's and they were almost 2lbs a wheel lighter so sold my Finnspeeds and got all Forgeline's. My Forgelines are 20.5 lbs rear 19X13 and 20 lbs front 19X12
