After a high speed pass, cooling fan stopped working. I drove home carefully and got it back before it got to hot

Checked the relay (exchanged it with a known working one), still nothing

2006
Paxton (if that matters)
4K miles
Manual :p

Any ideas or things to check before I take it to my Viper Tech that is 7 hours away ?

Is there a way to run power directly to the fan to make sure that it is working ?

Thanks

I know that one can use a DRB III to activate the fan while the engine is running.

As I recall, the fan (hydraulic) and drive are not serviceable separately...so a failure requires a fan module replacement.

I would disconnect, then reconnect the electrical connector for the fan control solenoid...as it might be loose, corroded, or fried...then, look for function.

Admittedly, it would not take me too long to consult a Viper tech.

Good luck with it.

Thanks Steve. I will do the disconnect you suggest

I have talked to the tech and he suggested the relay. Nothing after that

Just trying to save myself from a long trip.....twice... if I can
