You can get the Grit Guards DIRECTLY from Grit Guard themselves. CLICKY (http://www.gritguard.com/grit-guard/the-grit-guard-insert-2-pack.html).

What you do is buy the Grit Guards FIRST, and then take one with you to the store where the buckets are. Start testing out the buckets you want to buy by placing the Grit Guard insert into the bucket. It needs to fit all the way down into the BOTTOM of the bucket AND NOT SPIN. You may need to use a single tie wrap on the outer edge of the insert in order to make it snug in a aftermarket bucket. I have been Googling microfiber towels in every kind of way that you can imagine. Just stumbled upon them during a search and saw that they distinguished Korean made microfiber from the crappy stuff. That was enough for me to give them a look.

That they use S Korean microfiber at that price is pretty amazing. I've used some of the Commie microfiber and it usually ends up being used to dust the house, wipe down window screens, blinds, ceiling fan blades, etc.

I'm curious to see what shows up...plus I need to clean my DD this weekend and get the last of the salt (hopefully!) off of it. I'm so ready for Spring....

So I called them up, left a message, and within 10 minutes had a callback. The guy got everything squared up and was very nice on the phone. The shipment email showed up about 10 minutes later!

Initial impression is that the towels are a very high quality. Overall, I'm very impressed...very reasonable pricing, fast shipping, excellent customer support, quality products. What's not to like?

Have some negative feedback here. My G/F has purloined some of the best ones for her house cleaning chores. She especially likes the velvet low nap mirror cleaning cloth. She is scampering all over the house with these towels, cleaning everything in sight.

Warning: These cloths are not only great for auto detail work, but great around the house too. Do not hesitate to buy extras, so you will still have enough for garage duty.

Was interesting to note that the variety kit only included a single white dusting glove…the Michael Jackson edition? (J/K)

Yes, we've established that, at half the cost. However, the double-plush towels that Adam's carries (which are the exact same towels as the 1400 at The Rag Company) are no longer 1400 GSM. The Rag Company has temporarily discontinued them until the manufacturer gets the quality back up to par. Although The Rag Company has discontinued them, other detailing companies are continuing to carry them in a lower quality grade. Problem is, they haven't informed their customers that the towels they got previously and the towel they are being sold today are NOT the same quality. You have to respect The Rag Company for acknowledging and informing their customers of that.

Just used my new towels today JM. I used to use some of my so-called higher end micro fibers on the windows even ones designed for windows and would still get some mini fibers on the glass and it would drive me nuts. i would go inside and grab a good t-shirt and use it for glass just to avoid getting some fibers sticking to the glass. now with these premium micro fibers i can do all my windows and not even get a single piece of fiber on them. Very impressed. Gonna have to go back and drop a few more Benny's!

WOW! Ive just gotta say this.....

I purchased a few different towels from the rag company. One of which was 2 waffle weave towels 16x16 in size. When I received them as a lot of you may know the towels tend to have some fuzz or loose fibers or what ever it may be on the towels so I always like to give them a shake before i put them to use. Both the waffle weave towels I gave a shake to and I went to fold them in quarters before use and noticed 1 corner on each towel was already starting to fey. So just called them up to let them know i'd like to exchange them and just purchase some more of their awesome blue eagle edgeless pro towels and ill pay the difference. I spoke with Dane over there at the rag company and great guy! The customer service was so very professional. They truly want to take care of the customer and keep them happy and coming back for more. So not only are they going to just swap out my 2 waffle weave towels which are of lesser value for their eagle pro blue edgeless towels but they are not even worried about me sending back the waffle weave towels which have the fey'd edges. They said just keep them and use them around the house for something.
Can't say enough good things about them. This is now my one and only go to spot for micro fiber towels!

What's terrible is I went through the process and ordered and found out at checkout that its over 50% shipping fees for Canadians. YIKES !! So my order was 57.00 dollars and they added 30 additional dollars in fees. Whoa horsey !!

If they did I am in for some. It was just not feasible for us here unless you could get a few hundred dollars worth of products. The shipping rate was 30 dollars flat rate no matter how much you purchased.

I may have read it wrong as I was just glancing at it but I think that's what I saw. For the quality of those towels, I would clearly bite the bullet and buy a bunch anyway. The Rag company is one amazing company. We buy all of our detailing towels there specially the one Junkman has mentioned, South Korean ones. The price is just unbelievable so we buy tons and tons of it. The last thing you want is after hours upon hours of polishing the paint to perfection is to put a bad MF towel and enduce the swirl marks back in it. Same thing when removing waxes/sealant or ceramic coatings. Worth every penny.
