Hello, can or has someone posted a toque sheet for this generation? Specifically, I need the pressure plate torque specs.

Many thanks

It's in the factory service manual. Do you have one?

The manual for a 1998 says 30 N.m or 270 in. lbs which i believe is the same as 22.5 ft. lbs. I think the 2001 would be the same.

Also, don't trust the alignment tool to center the clutch perfectly. Check to see that the clutch is centered relative to the pressure plate by feeling the distance from the edge of the clutch disk to the edge of the pressure plate face. I had a horrible time with not getting the transmission shaft to align with the pilot bearing until I used the "finger" method.

You can find service manuals for your Viper through our vendors. Good to have.
