Hi,
Come and join your Viper friends for brunch! I wanted to get this up here, I will put more details up soon. We will meet at the park and ride in Newtown at Wasserman Way, Newtown, CT 06470 Its exit 11 off I84, from either direction, take a right at the light at the end of the ramp and a quick right into the park and ride lot. From there we'll take a short cruise to the restaurant. Still working out details on meeting spot time and route we will take.

The Jazz doesn't start till well afternoon and I'm not sure we will hear it from where we will be seated. We will either be in the enclosed glass area overlooking the river or the tables out side next to it depending on weather and the amount of people that come. For anyone that has come to the RiverView BBQ, this is on the same road not far from it. I have had brunch there and the food was great and the service as well.

Jeff, I'll be going to Broke. We have 15 Vipers registered through the NEVOA board and about 5 non-VOA participants registered through the Broke.East site. I hope others from CT and NY will consider attending this enormous MEET and increase the "WOW" factor of having 20+ Vipers rolling into the venue!!

As it looks now the weather for Sunday is getting worse. I'll wait till Friday night to make a final decision. I will not only be looking at the forecast for the day Sunday, but also the hourly forecast. For example if the forecast is for 60% chance of rain, but the hourly forcast says that doesn't start till 4 pm, then I would keep the event on. This time of year it's always hard to tell how the weather will play out. If there is interest in keeping the event on, even if there is rain and we just take our other vehicles, then I would be willing to keep it on regardless and would just skip the scenic cruise from the communter lot and drive from there straight to Stone's Throw. Anyone have an opinion on this option? Have a Happy Hump Day.

The weather forecast continues to get worse for Sunday. I'm keeping the event on even though it looks to be a washout because enough people still want to go. So drive whatever gets you there, doesn't have to be your viper.

The weather for Sunday isn't looking any better. Anyone meeting up at the commuer parking lot off i84, I will be waiting there in a 2019 new style red Ram 1500 crew cab. Anyone who braves the weather, see you in the morning!
