I bought my viper last Friday knowing it had a few issues to work out. One of them being a misfire and just running poorly in general. I changed the corroded plugs with the OE recommended RC12LYC's and that made it run SO much better. So far I've changed the oil, plugs, belt, O2 sensors, fuel filter, and trans fluid. I'm still waiting on plug wires to show up in the mail. It's much better than when I got it. It idles great, doesn't stall, starts easier, etc. But still has a very noticeable misfire

The car has a P0201 code which is for injector 1 circuit. My local parts place had an injector in stock so I swapped it. That didn't fix it, so I pulled out my noid lights. It's not getting a pulse at the injector plug. The green/orange wire has ~13 volts at idle and the white/blue wire has nothing. I found an ECU pinout and checked the wire from the ECU plug to the injector plug for resistance, it's good. I "scrubbed" the connection at the ECU and probed the wire there. Got nothing.

It seems like my ECU is bad. Is this a fairly common thing to have happen? I see where a few vendors offer repair services for the stock computer. I would like to find a reasonably priced used computer to test. But seems like they're all $1k and up. Is there a viper salvage that might have one?

Call Dan Lesser @ Viper Specialty Performance. He's the only one I'd trust to work on the PCM. Also, the best plug for stock engines is the Gen 3 plug RC12ECC.
