DOT was putting salt brine on overpasses today too...went over 540 at Six Forks Road and the bridge was white from the dried brine! :(

For clarification to the Raleigh area crew regarding the luncheon, the weather outlook for Saturday morning does not look promising. In addition, brine has been spread on the bridges and overpasses in preparation for the "shaky" weather. Therefore, we are going to cancel our 8:00am rendezvous at the Cary C&C. However, we will still meet for lunch at the Tribeca Tavern @ 11:00am. There is no need to bring your Viper to the luncheon. Even though we will be missing some Vipers, we can still meet for lunch and socialize!

Well, despite the potential for bad weather, we had a GREAT turn out once again! A big THANK YOU to everyone that came out to join us! We had 18 people in attendance for lunch...some familiar faces, and some new! Nina and Dugan who dropped in to "sample" out our Dyno event last week also joined us today for lunch. This was their first "official" event as VOA members and are a great addition to our club. Welcome! "Racer" Randy dropped in today for his first VOA event of the year as well.

Lunch was fantastic! Thank you Seth for organizing our luncheon today. It was a great choice. The environment was perfect and the food was outstanding! And, thank you for organizing the membership drive packets for everyone.

Thank you everyone that stayed to help us with our membership drive mailing. It was a HUGE help. I cannot imagine how long it would have taken otherwise. Thanks again Mike for all of your efforts with the brochures, business cards, and the list!!! Finally, thank you Craig for drafting up our VOA "promo" letter.

This is beginning to sound like the Oscar's, but I just had to say "thanks" to everyone involved....which happened to be everyone. :)

Since you're in NC, have you considered joining up with the Carolinas group? Hopefully you can make some of the events on the schedule...it will be an incredible year!

My dad and stepmom live near Hertford...you're not too far away. Next time I'm visiting my dad, let's see if we can meet for lunch.
