Payson Run April 27th 2019

OK, so here are the details for our upcoming run to Payson!

Date: Saturday, April 27th
Meeting Place: Chevron (10180 N. Fort McDowell Road, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264)
Meeting Time: 9:30 AM
Departure Time: 9:45 AM

It will be a great scenic run up Route 87, with plenty of curves to test your driving skills (or in my case, lack thereof).

Our "trial" trip up there this past Saturday was pretty swift, since there were only five of us, and the drive was...ahem...more "spirited" than usual. But with a larger group expected on the 27th, it will probably take a little longer for us to organize and hit our luncheon destination.

We will drive up Route 87, and it should take about 45 minutes to reach "Buffalo Bar & Grill", located at 311 S. Beeline Highway, Payson, AZ 85541.

They have reserved about 20 parking spots for all of us to park as a group, and also reserved a large outside patio area that will hold about 35-40 people. There will be an outside bar for those that would like to refresh themselves accordingly.

A separate email communication has also been sent out so that you can respond back to me directly, and I can keep track of everyone's responses.

Looking forward to another great run and get together!

It's great to see so much enthusiasm and participation for your events but I do need to caution you guys in terms of the VOA liability insurance. The current members are covered by our insurance policy but unfortunately those who are not members are not covered. All cruise type driving events are automatically included for coverage so there's no need to request coverage.

Sorry we missed everyone. I had an emergency with my dog and had to take him to the vet. He is OK now. We were hoping to catch you at the Pub but everyone was gone by the time we arrived. The waitress said that all the Vipers left about 20 minutes before we got there. Rhonda and I hope to be at the next meeting
