Just picked up a 2013 GTS - very dirty so pictures will have to come later. Anyways I noticed that the daytime running lights are not on if I have the parking brake off as the manual states. I looked at the uConnect setting under “lights” but there is no setting there related to the DRLs. The DRLs do come on with the headlights, so this seems to be a software/programming issue. Do I need to take it to a dealer to get it programmed differently? For US models, do you have a setting under “lights” in your uConnect screen?

Yes it was an softwear issue with early models. My 14 had that issue too. Should be an easy fix at dealership. Simple download

Thanks. Went to the dealer and they reflashed the bcm. Back in business - the uConnect screen also now has the option to enable/disable the DRLs as well.

Nope. 1 hour labor @ $75

Not bad at all. What exactly should I tell them or ask for when I go up there so I don't confuse them?

Tell them the DRLs don’t turn on as the manual states when ignition is on and parking brake is deactivated. You also should check that it wasn’t automatically turned off in your uConnect settings under Lights. Tell them there is a software update to enable them.
