Just gauging how much interests there would be in a high flowing CNC'd head option with little down time? All heads well be tested and flowed before release with or without standard size valves. This is not a for sale thread this is just gauging interest thread.

I'm interested, especially if performance would be on par or better than the reputable porters like Arrow or Greg Good.

Good to know Ron! I'm expecting azing results as I have never been disappointed with his development work yet he's top notch! Also hoping that a quick turn around time would make this a lot less painless.

I'm interested. Greg is not far from me here in Houston so I might go that route, but I am definitely interested in other options.

I would be interested in the horsepower gains through out the power band and the cost to make it happen :)

With head porting, there is a component of "black magic" involved in that, often, the heads with the highest flow numbers don't always translate to the most hp area under the curve. Obviously midlift numbers and velocity are important as well as platform/engine specific tricks that may only apply to these V10's and that is why reputation is huge when it comes to headwork. If this is someone new to the Viper platform, they'd have to be proven performers and if that can be done, I think you'd have a hot product.

The heads will be proven before they are released and are being worked on as we speak, just like my view on dyno's, flow bench is only a tool. Were also using airflow analysis to monitor velocity and other crucial factors. My partner has been in the business for years and holds many records but all heads well be tested both on a dyno and track.

My partner is Bret and I just received my first set of new cores so the fun is about to begin and more details will be added, also just put a big order in for header and exhaust parts should be a fun spring :)

There is def. a market for these. Last I knew ordering a set from GG takes about 6 months to get as he is very busy and has that many orders. I know he was working on C&C program to speed up the process but never heard the results. I found a used set as I wasn't willing to wait that long.

Thanks but that's why I build this stuff is to put it on and use it. Just like a car if its not used its wasted in my humble opinion.

Will this be just gen 3/4 specific? Any Gen 1/2 love?
Revolution

There heads will be actually Gen 4/5 specific and will work on Gen 3 with a Gen 4 head swap. Right now I just want to get these heads and my headers and exhaust going then might take a look at Gen 1/2 if there is enough interest.

Yes progress but there is going to be lots of time on the bench to get the heads where we want them then on my test car. I'm hoping late this spring time to have it fully tested!

Bump for some more info. What ever happened with this progress? I would love to see what magic Hptuners could do on a viper with headwork.

I was working on a plan but until I figure some more stuff out I'm waiting g to see which direction I'm going. I ran my car this weekend for the first time on HP and some else's tune and the car is down power. So far what I see with HP is a lot of tables to adjust that as soon as you do it puts the car in limp mode. Think now that I have more free time I will start looking and testing the HP tuners software out myself.

Really just holding to see if there is a chance to do a cam also cause we will then optimize the port work for the new cam. But my faith in doing it with hp is not high so looking at some other solutions for tuning as well. :)
