Side sill front edge protection

Hey gang, trying to clean up the sills a little: the front "lip"(or whatever it is called) has that OEM chip protection, just like the airdam has, and am wandering what anyone has done to improve/replace. Mine are pretty chipped up. '98 GTS S/B

It's called a chin spoiler under the fascia. The purpose is to direct air around to the side of the car instead of that air going under the car which contributes to lift. All at the sacrifice of drag. If the front of the sills are chipped then step one will be to paint them or get them wrapped. Then do a clear protective film. Or just drive it realizing it will just come back after a while anyway.

Make a template of your old ones, and buy some clear bra on ebay and cut to fit. Pretty easy to install small pieces of that material.
