I seem to have an intermittent issue with my 97 RT/10 e brake, about 1 in 4 times I pull up on the lever it goes all the way up like there is nothing there then lower it and pull up again and it's solid on about half way up like it should be. Sometimes the point of on leaves the lever at different angles up. Any ideas?

My '01 RT/10 did this. The E-brake is still working. Believe it or not, I believe there is somehting that needs to be greased on the E-brake lever. I had to remove my transmission cover to fix the issue. Over time it started to do it again so I'm due to regrease it. I believe there is a thread about it in the How To section here on this site.
