The 14th Annual Tail of the Dragon VOA "Bucket List" event takes place Thursday, May 30th through Sunday, June 2nd!

Join us for a weekend of Viper fun as we experience this stretch of US129 with 318 curves in 11 miles! We'll also enjoy a scenic drive and stops along the Cherohala Skyway which is a 40+ mile long National Scenic Byway. However, driving isn’t the only event on the venue. We’ll also experience the many attractions of Gatlinburg, a Grand Reception Dinner, door prizes, an exclusive Viper parade through downtown Gatlinburg, and endless FUN with your Viper friends!

I'm in, just registered for two - will be our first trip, can't wait! I didn't receive any confirmation - just the Paypal receipt. Is there anyone we are supposed to contact with our names/regional info, or is that gathered through Paypal? I had expected to insert more during the registration process?

The receipt is your confirmation, so good there. You will need to get a room in Gatlinburg (we have a rate at the Greystone lodge. We are looking forward to seeing you Thursday at registration check in and later for drinks and dinner. Please contact me directly if you have any questions (540 270 3696). For those folks coming in on Thursday afternoon (or before) - especially first timers, we have reserved one room at the Alamo (about 55 seats) for dinner at 6:30. We usually go over the agenda and important things at this time. If you plan to come to the Alamo for dinner, please let us know so we can get a head count. There is an additional room available if we need it. We have over 150 people registered now so this is a courtesy to us and to the Alamo Restaurant so that we can be as prepared as possible so everyone will have the best time and be prepared for the weekend. Lots of event veterans know the routes and rules but we want to make a welcome dinner available so you can meet old friends and we can make newcomers welcome. We will have registration starting about 3:30 pm and then again after dinner for those folks who got in late. Thanks for your help in making this another great year for the Tail of the Dragon. We will be emailing itineraries and other details after registration closes.
