X Brace removed?

Has anyone removed the X brace? What does it look like from the bottom? I am curious to the center X portion. Is it several pieces bolted together, is it welded together, pressed together? I have always been curious to the center.

To me it looks like it may be 9 pieces together to make the brace. 4 ends, 4 "legs" and 1 center X. I've only seen 1 in person and didn't really pay attention to it.

Feet are c sections welded to the tubular legs on the underside. The center X is a top part over a bottom part welded together then the legs welded like the feel to the undersides, so actually 10 parts.
