Car has the 15" Front Brembo rotors # 09.8528.74 and 09.8528.84

Can't find any help on the web.

Looking for help on which rotor is the left (driver side) and which is the right (pass side). I'm guessing the last rotor pic that shows the vanes are for the pass side, so the air is scooped in.

Also looking for where to get hardware to reinstall the hats. Currently they are tight and not loose or floating.

Thanks, Tom

Tom,

You can get replacement rotors from Kohr in Michigan. the ones you have are the 32mm thickness. Lance and I use the 35mm (09.8528.78 and 09.8528.88)

When I replaced my rotors I got the hardware locally (Costa Mesa - Huntington Beach) at Porterfield Brakes. You might be able to find their hardware at other places too, Porterfield got them from the Brembo distributor in a couple of days (I think they have distribution center in CA or somewhere out in Western US).

Mike: The rotors still look good, going to get them turned and then remount them on the hats.

Are the front hats supposed to be tight not loose on the rotor? I talked with Performance Friction (the car has their rotors on the rear) and they stated the hat is supposed to be a little loose so it will float.

By the Stop Tech flyer the last rotor pic is for the Left or Driver side!

Thanks for the help guys!

Took a closer look at your rotors and don’t see any real cracking so their good

When the day comes to replace, go with the 35mm

Can’t remember the bolt torque specs, but all my bolts are tight between the hat and rotor, no flex

Thanks again Mike..!

I've got the 4 calipers at Jeff Stout's place getting them rebuilt. Supposed to be back in time for Willow Springs in March. I didn't think they were an issue, but since I just replaced all the Tilton Master cylinders I figured might as well do them too.

Hope your BW testing went well!

The vanes are slanted to EXHAUST the air, not scoop it in Heating air expands as it cools....
