Guys I know there are a lot of ramp choices to get a Viper on a trailer. My question is kind of specific. I have an 2019 8218 Aluma and want to put my stock height 96 RT on it. The trailer has 8.5deg tilt. What is the stock approach angle for my car? I can’t find it anywhere. Which ramp set if any should I get? It’s been freezing here and don’t want to go outside and figure it all out. If it’s an easy answer for one of you who have lived it I would appreciate the help. Thx

Go to the race ramp website and use the formula they have in order to determine the right ramps. Yes, it requires that you take some measurements on you trailer and your car. Cold or not...it’s worth taking the time to get It right

I have the Xlong ramps. Does not make any difference what the formula is because they don't make ramps any longer. They rub on a 1/2" lifted car. I use cheater boards to help but since my car is a driver the scrapes on the corners do not bother me. It's scraped there anyway.

Wow Dave they rub on a 1/2 lifted car. Well it looks like I am going with 2 x8’s or something similar. No point in spending $300-$600 if I am gonna rub anyway.

Anyone know who ones this Viper. Nine Ball on another forum. 20ft Aluma. But his car is lowered.

No.
Well, then you don't have the longest ramps they make. I use the 2 piece (131" long) and have no problems with lowered Vipers

Your ramps are 10 feet 11 inches long? Nice lol.
Anywho, thanks for the update on my personal property you've never seen. I'll be passing on the *longest* ever ramps. The 131" long ones.

You told the OP you have the longest ramps that they make. This is obviously not the case so I am just trying to give him the facts. Formula work just fine

As I mentioned, the 131" ramps are 2 piece that lock together. So each individual piece is just 5.5 feet and very easy to handle and store

I used RR-TR-4 s with my 2001 RT/10 and 8218 Aluma with tilt. Stock height, it was close but did not rub. The RR-TR-5s might give you a little more safety margin.

I use the TR-5's with my Featherlite ramps. The approach angle is 4.3 degrees and their 67" long vs. the TR-4's (above) which are 5.5 degrees and 46" long.
Those long TR-10's have the lowest approach at 3.8 degrees and are 131" long. Nice but pricey and take up a lot of room.

I have the 74” used with my trailer ramps. When I have my suspension set for track height I have to use my trailer jack to push the front of the trailer up to reduce my angle. I have a 20’ dovetail heartland 7000lb trailer which is pretty tall. These ramps would be perfect with a lower trailer for a viper that is lowered.36485
By the way that’s with the track splitter on it, so maybe a non ACR would drive up on my trailer with out the jack even lowered.

So exactly which ones do you have? Do you have part numbers or model names?

I have the two piece ramps and they are fantastic. Gives you a long drive up and they worked well on my Vipers, son's lowered EVO IV, and Boss 302S racecar. Splitters were all left on and as lightweight as the ramps are , getting the two piece units was well worth the expense, long term, for me.

My Race Ramps are the RR-TR-11-2
I got them from Summit Racing since they offered free shipping

I also have the 131" two piece ramps. Work great even at track height with the splitter on it

Just curious are the splitters on the ACR’s quickly removable?

They are, I didn't take a photo, but even with the extreme front splitter installed, it clears with these ramps.

I second that.....splitters on ,car lowered , I still never hit with any of my cars, with the two piece ramp. Bit more money , but it has been worth it to me!
