This will be a combined region event, Californian and Arizona! Is anyone going?
I'll be there for sure, hopefully another couple of Arizona Vipers will be there too.
Nasa track record times there are:
TTU- 1.39.300
TT1- 1.49.510
Would these be hard to beat? I've never been there

TT1 you will probably beat that or come close, Chris Winkler did a 1:47.7 in a Gen 5 ACR.

TTU might be a challenge but with your 9L it's within striking distance too. Here's some Global Time Attack times for reference.

AZ, I looked up the NASA records and see those times are with configuration CCW 13, the less common event configuration. Is that what you guys are running? Couldn't see it on the NASA site.
That 1:49 is pretty fast, you can probably get there but not sure you can achieved that in 1 weekend out of the box. 40's are really fast, I've seen a few cars get into the 40's but not sure they would be eligible for TT1? (My best from a year ago is 1:54 and I'm hoping to better that by a second or two with my new motor this weekend.).
I've mostly run there with Speed Ventures, NASA once and one other group once. I've never see low 40's at any event. The time I did NASA 2 years ago they ran CW Saturday and CCW on Sunday. Like Chuckwalla, there is a big difference between CW and CCW. At BW, CW is faster. If you can get into the 30's with CW, find a sponsor and go pro!!! if you get get into the 30's CCW, you'll have a sponsorship and a fast ride given to you before you leave!
Come our this weekend for a practice run. Speed Ventures is doing CW both days. Hi temp is mid 60's and that's idea for a fast time.
I'd really like to run with you at the NASA event but that's my wife's spring Break from school and we'll probably be traveling.

No way any Viper could run with those unlimited GTA cars, they are all like 2300 lbs, 750whp-900whp, awd, sequentials etc. That's a whole other level.

No way I can make this weekend! I'm hoping Nasa will have at least one practice session Friday. And they haven't announced the config yet, I'll post back here when they do.
