Wish more people had a little more awareness about any high performance vehicle in the winter. I know it was a medical condition that caused this, but still quite a few don't know!!

It's been a bad year for winter viper accidents. Not sure why so many are taking their car out.

It is noted that the tires ( OEM or aftermarket ) on most Vipers are not recommended to be driven under 40 degrees. Folks who are on track designated tires ( i.e. Toyo R888rs ,etc. ) are at high risk , as these tires do not warm up and can have other issues. Pilot Sport Cups ( original or 2s ) feel like they are flat if run when it is cold , and they are noted in the manual that they can be damaged by very cold weather. A warm day in the 50s , but preceded by a night in the teens or low 20s, often means the pavement has not warmed up during the day, so please keep this in mind if you live in a cold clime? This time of the year, unless you are in the warmer areas of the US , is just not a good time to drive a performance machine. Many other Brands have similar concerns with the summer only tires Manufacturers put on their high horsepower models. Be careful out there and hopefully we will here good news on this individual's condition?
