Kind of bad timing on this event since I am already planning to hit the Toronto Molson Indy that weekend. But if that trip falls through I would definitely like to go to this Homecoming thing. No way I can spend 3 days driving down, I have to be back to work on Monday. But flying in and out is doable. Hard to pass up a chance to go see the factory.

I would suggest take an extra day and go to the Henry Ford museum. It has cars, but also mechanical history of the US. It's amazing. A few hundred yards away are the buses for the tour of the Rouge River Ford F150 assembly plant. Amazing as well.

Good to know. What else is a must see in Detroit? I've been to Detroit a few times but have never taken in the sites. I wonder if they will open up the Chrysler Museum during that weekend?

the plans were discussed in the Presidents meeting and will be published soon once a few more details are worked out.

I got my 2 tickets. Just need to figure out who to bring with me for that extra raffle entry. lol

Also need to book hotel, flights, and rental car. Matt we should co-ordinate our flights and hotel if we are the only ones going. Could split a rental car too.

I tried to book yesterday, but the hotel says they have no rooms. Yet when he calls the event co-ordinator for all this it still shows they have rooms. So I had to call Rachel Hammer to book my room, but then she is out of offie till May 19 it says on voicemail.

I havent looked at flights yet.
