Hi,
I was traveling out of state and got a flat on my front tire. I currently have Nitto Invo's that are about 6 years old. They couldn't get anything except a Yokohama - Advan S.4 V403.
So I am debating replacing the other front tire with the same Yokohama.
My question is, can I run the Yokohama's on the front and put new Pilot Sports on the rear? Or should I bite the big bullet and replace them all with the Pilot Sports?

Thanks!
Gary

You can, but more will say to make sure they are the same make, but if you're not tracking hard, I would bet they would be fine. That said, What size is you fronts? I might have a single Invo I can send. Just pay shipping. The one I have is a 275/35-18"

I wouldn't recommend it, do them all in PSS if you want those for the rear.

Hi,
Thanks for the offer. Not to be picky but is there much tread left on the tire?
My front reads 275/35ZR19 99W

Thanks Again!

Mine has 80%, but with yours being a 19, it won't help.

Oh come on....it's just 1". You can squeeze it over the rim if you try hard enough :p0257:

Just make sure it's all the way deflated before trying to get an 18" tire on a 19" wheel, and maybe use some Vaseline?

That's a good point, because I usually install my tires fully inflated

The correct answer is to buy four new matching tires to replace the dangerous six year old tires you currently have.

Damn I made a mistake. 275/35ZR18 99W

I would definitely be interested.

Thanks
Gary
