First let me state that I have ZERO, NONE, NOT A SINGLE hot lap on these tires. We did change back to the stock CCB's with new pads and replaced the wheel studs with new. I broke one so best to replace them all. Drove around to bed pads for the street NOT THE TRACK. Had a few events to drive to felt a shake in the front nothing crazy. Just got back from a 3 day club event and the steering wheel made my hands feel like I was holding bumble bee's. Pulled the wheels and this is what I found. The inside corners of both fronts are gone any help as to what the heck could have caused this to happen so fast. I have been getting around 2000 miles out of a set and that's with track events.

I have a similar amount of wear on my R888 front driver side. Around 30-40% of the inner part of the tire was worn MUCH more then the rest of the tire. Putting on two new R888R's on the front tomorrow + alignment to see if it resolves the issue. No other tires show this wear.

Looks like way too much camber? If you are running around -2.8 in the front like the ACR comes with and then only driving it on the street that's what's going to happen in 2000 miles.

Running the factory alignment. Normally 2 sets of fronts to 1 set of rears when I track the car. This was just street driving and only 850 miles. Should I back off the negative camber to get better street life out of the fronts? I have 4 rears and 6 fronts sitting in my garage. Thanks for the input

I would check the toe on the front to see where it's at. Seems like a lot of wear for just camber. I do know when a shop buggered my alignment with way too much toe, mine did worse in 400miles.......

FWIW, I run zero toe up front with -2.6 camber and never see that kind of wear, but I also kill them off on the track in short order anyway.....

looks like an alignment issue.. i had similar issues with corsas

Could that wear pattern also occur if the tire pressure was too low? I believe the door sticker calls for 35psi cold on the front.

Are you running camber shims up front? if not, perhaps the alignment moved shortly after being tracked during the 850 miles of street use.

From the pics, the wear looks uneven, that in itself is strange.

Alignment... was it re done after you installed the Tractives was the ride height changed at the same time if not?

Steering wheel should not be shaking. Could be your front wheel hub(s) need replacement. How did you break your wheel stud?

There was a similar thread two weeks ago. When he aligned the car, it did not appear the old alignment was that bad. As far as feeling the vibration in the wheel, those tires are scalloped.

Waiting on the alignment details on my car since I had a similar wear on my R888's and I'm tractive.

Just did the hubs when we installed new wheel studs. Alignment has not been touched since day one with the Tractive system installed. 8323 miles on the car. I broke 1 rear wheel stud in my garage just taking it off no big story. Tire pressure is always at 32 cold hot temp is at 35-37. This is the 4th set of fronts and 2nd set of rears I have never has any issues till now. Just dropped it of at Jeff's shop to have the entire car gone over. I am thinking about doing a TA alignment on the car. Here is the reason behind it. I will have very very limited track time in 2019 and quit a bit of street miles with club events and driving down to Miami for the VOA President meetings. The TA set up is just .3 less then the ACR so my thought is I may get a few more street miles out of a set of tires.
Thanks for all the advise and input I hope to have a answer by next week.

This is exactly what I was going to recommend, if you are doing mostly street miles, I'd go with TA aligment, maybe even less camber like around -2.0?

What are the TA alignment specs?

FYI I have a new set of front tires if you need them.

Update on the alignment going to have all for corners on the scale to get the weight set exact adding 200 lds to the drivers seat to cover my fat ass. Setting the camber to -1.6 and the toe as close to zero as we can get it I asked the designer for some help. This should give me good track laps and improve my street life. After we line it all out and get the corners dialed in it should be ready.
Thanks again for everyone's advise

Update on the findings of what happened. First thanks to everyone at Complete Performance Motorsports for getting to the bottom of the issue. Jeff and Victor are the best. It looks like I just plane drove it out of alignment after a bunch of track events over the past 2 seasons driving the car the way it was designed to be driven. I just pushed the front slugs out to -3.9 on the Camber and toe was out just a bit. As I said in the beginning of my post I won't get many track events in 2019 so the car is set to -1.6 on the Camber and toe is 1/64th from zero. the alignment is part race car part street car. Complete Performance Motorsports put it up on the scales and add 200 lb's of weight to the drivers seat to set the balance of all 4 corners are the same then set the camber and toe. I really hope to get a nice day to get it out on the open road and see how it feels. Thanks goes to Ralph AKA Mr VooDoo, Jeff, Victor and the entire crew at Complete Performance Motorsports.

Did you go back to CCBs because you were not going to do more track days or something else?

Yes, I am only able to attend a few events in 2019. I forgot how well the track set up stopped the car. The CCB's are great, But not in the same class as the ST 43's on steel.
