I have been trying to get a definitive answer to the difference of gears between the different variants of GenIV and GenV. While the search function is helpful I figured it would be advantageous for all to A. have it all in one place, and B. have a thread titled appropriately to aid in others using the search function.

Here is what I have. Please correct me if this is not 100% accurate.

Gen IV 2008/2009 - 2.66, 1.82, 1.30, 1.00, .741, .50
GenIV 2010 - 2.66, 1.82, 1.30, 1.00, .796, .50

GenV 2013/2014 & TA PKG/All Years - 2.26, 1.58, 1.19, 1.00, .77, .63
GenV 2015 - 2017 & All ACR's - 2.26, 1.58, 1.19, 1.00, .77, .50

The one thing that is not clear is what G4 cars had the 0.8 5th gear. It may have only been the ACR's. There has been some conflicting information on the 0.8 gears in the G4's.

My understanding was that it was all 2010 cars, ACR or not.

I'm also showing 2nd gear for the Gen 4 is 1.78, not 1.82.

If that is the case, why do you think they didn't keep the 0.8 for the G5.

No idea...parts supply issue maybe?

Where is the sales code located?

Mine was on my order sheet. Sometimes dealers will list it when they have them for sale.

Sales Code - Part number
DEC - RL206482AH
DD1 - RL258989AD

I think this is the most accurate list of transmission gear options, as proven by my 2015 SRT having a .63 DEC coded transmission.
It's often missed that in 2015 the SRT kept the .63 6th gear when the GT and GTS' got the .50.
