Mystery Parts

I was cleaning the garage floor and found these two parts on the floor. I have 4 different cars along with my viper. I cannot find where these came from. Does anyone know if they could have come from the viper. The spring is a real heavy pressure spring and the other part is some kind of cylinder piston plunger.

sping looks an awful lot like a valve spring.. but youd have to have an engine apart or bought spares to have that just laying around. the other part seems to be some type of hydralic plunger/piston.. maybe a brake caliper piston from something light duty?

It has me stumped. All my things in the garage with motors are running well. The spring looks like a valve spring but much smaller in size but very stiff. The piston has two o rings on it and it is damp but does not small like any cat fluids.
