I know this is only one video, but going by a&c’s numbers and how they are close to the 9L’s numbers and the speed difference in the roll race posted by a member here and his brother, VE h&c vs 9L h&c; the results are about right in this race. Would love to see an a&c h&c car vs 9L h&c.

i think a roll race would tell a better story to take drivers more out of the equation. The only thing the video really shows is that im pulling slightly all the way down the track. I didn't keep the slip it was not impressive.

We only got 1 race together. My car started running funny after. I got all the way home before i realized a plug wire worked itself free.

The race with me and my brother is very similar to this, id love to race an A&C h/c car with my 9.0....Im in NY and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance to get it done!!!

Looks like the A&C car is issuing beat downs.

I thought it was common to figure this out. Doesn't the A/C car put down more power to the wheel by a significant amount? No down play on the VE kit I know it's a killer, but AC makes a killer one also.

Nice, what was the mph of each car? I’ve never seen an a/c hc et mph posted before?

looks like 1-1/2 to 2 cars?, would love to see the time sleep to see taps in the 1/8 and 1/4 just to compare. looks like a 11 sec. pass or so.
Good shifting.

Looks like maybe a 3mph or so difference in trap speeds. Would be nice to see the traps on the slip.

Soon we may be able to make this happen, although it would be an Arrow heads cam 9L vs an A&C Performance Heads Cam 9.2 liter. We will be finished assembly the short block here soon and will have some dyno results. I am Hoping Ben lets us add a stroker setup to his A&C H/c Viper :) Stay tuned. I do not have pricing as of yet or numbers but rest assured, It will be very impressive.

It would have been nice to see a time slip to see the mph difference but nice run none the less. I'd be happy with either package.

That video was my first ever 1/4 mile attempt and my only race against that car. Im not posting the slip because it was 94 degrees, and with a very green driver. The numbers on the slip do not do either setup any justice....and i dont need to hear how much i suck. My trap speed was 1.97 mph faster than his.

The 1 thing the video shows is the AC h/c car pulls the entire 1/4 mile.

Very nicely explained - good luck with the car.

For the record, it looks like you had a really good launch.

Thanks guys. Best time of the day was a TT 1100hp gen 5. 11.1 at 138 mph. 2 stock demons couldn't get out of the high 120's. Conditions were very disappointing, but it was still fun. I will go again in cooler weather and give it another go.

Don't be embarrassed - weather has a huge impact on a car's performance at the drag strip, especially an NA car. 94 degrees is shit weather...the track temps were probably out of this world hot. FWIW, it looked like good driving to me, not that I'm some sort of expert or anything. The only thing you can really compare against are other cars running in the same conditions. For the most part, people holding up their 10 second time slips are running in ideal conditions that just don't exist outside of Texas or the East coast.

The trap speeds are the important part - your 2 MPH faster means your car was making about 20 HP more than his (roughly).
