Curious if both driver and passenger seats can be lowered in a Gen V, and if 1" kits are available? TIA

Wish I was closer and I would help you out. Best mod I did to mine, so much room now. I am 6'2"

Both can be lowered.

The seat lowering kit is definitely worth it. I'm 6'3" and I had to crouch down when driving the car stock (even with the seat set to the lowest position). Now, it's perfect. About the only thing that is a slight drawback is the loss of the fore-aft slider. I wish I would have done the 12 to 16 speaker conversion before installing the seat lowering kit (or while the driver's seat was out). If I were closer to you, I'd be happy to show it off - but I'm on the other side of the country.

Both can be lowered, but keep in mind the 1" kit is a bit unnecessary. The mechanism retains the height adjustment, so if the whole 2" is too much, you can always raise the seat to make the fit perfect.

I've got the seat lowering kit in mine. PM me if you want to check it out. I'm just outside of Cincinnati.

Really? I thought it was driver seat only. I have my seat lowered and would love to do the passenger seat.

Edit: just looked at Viper Parts, and they definitely sell one for the passenger seat. Thanks!!!

I'm 5'11 and I feel like I need a seat lowering kit. I lower myself in the seat so I can see out of the windshield properly. When I sit up properly, I'm looking straight at the roofline.

I would be interested in checking one out in CA if anyone in CA has one in their car. I also feel like I crouch most of the time.

Where are you in CA? I'm in Silicon Valley and I'd be happy to meet up and let you try it on for size.

Here is how I lowered my GenV Driver and passenger seat by 1'', easy steps to do it yourself, keeping the front to rear track adjustments.

Its my only option. Im just wanting to see how well i fit in a gen V before i find one..l0l With the 2 inch kit in my gen 3 its tight but i fit.
