How to turn off blinking alarm light on Gen 3

The blinking alarm light (by my rear view mirror) keeps draining my battery. How do I turn off the blinking light? I remember reading how to do it in one of older Viper Quarterly magazines years ago but couldn't find it. Thanks for your help!

Mine goes off when it's in sleep/hibernate mode. Have you tried that and it's still blinking?

That blinking light shouldnt drain your battery. I have it and a dash cam that runs 24/7 and not have an issue starting up. You may need a new battery or consider getting a battery tender.
