Side Exhaust Is Complete

I just finished my side-pipe conversion and it came out amazingly well! I did 95% of the work myself, and just needed an exhaust shop to weld a custom hanger for the rear of the side pipes. I used a hole saw to cut a 4" hole in the sills, then put a rubber trim ring around the hole. No melting so far lol. 3" chrome tips finished off the look. It sounds insane and has almost no drone at all!

Why did you decide to go with the side exit exhaust? I wish my Gen IV had rear exit haha

I just think a Viper should have the side pipes. I always felt like the rear exhaust on the Gen 2 looked tacked on and kinda weird. The side pipes, IMHO, look amazing and sound even better than the rear exhaust.

I did side exhaust on my '01 10 years ago. Never looked back. But those tips sticking out? Are you for real? They look horrible. The Belanger / Autoform way.33597

Agreed, exhaust looks good but the tips out that far and the angle throws it off for me. Flushed up and cut at the angle of the car looks great.
