At the time of production, who were the legit companies that tuned Gen I's?

Dan Cragin in LA, Larry Macedo in Orlando. Doug Levin in Miami. Might be a few others. If you'r on a budget, get a Vec2/3 and talk to Larry Macedo. If not, any of them can make a full standalone system for $3-$5K. I have a MS Pro I will sell for $1300, brand new. Still in the box.

Thanks for info.

Was asking about "at the time of production" so in 1992 thru 1995 who were the tuners? Hennessy on who else?

SVS got involved with Gen 2's. Owners of Gen 1's were basically on our own. Sean Roe did help also...

Are there Viper tuners that weren't / aren't legit? I know some are considered better than others depending on who you ask, but pretty much they've all been legit. IMO.

Anywho, Dal Lesser may have gotten in during that Gen 1 time frame. And, he's legit lol.

But if you're going to use the dictionary version of "legit" - legal; conforming to the rules - then some of the ones like Hennessey should be excluded from the list.
