View Full Version : In search of Rear Side Marker

Seems there is a national back order of the right rear side marker lenses. The only one available is from a dealership in Scranton, PA but they won't part with it. By chance anyone have an extra they would care to sell?

When I was changing my tail panel I noticed one of the nuts on the back of the lens was broken off.

They won't part with it? Why not?? Isn't their job to literally part with things?

I live 90ish minutes from Scranton if you need a parts runner. I'm out that way fairly often.

Parts guy says that it belongs to the owner of the dealership. Guess he has a Viper and for whatever reason won’t sell the part.

Then maybe he should purchase said part and put it on "his" shelf rather than leaving it in the system.

Sign of things to come regarding parts. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a windshield for my G5 from Safelite. They are having difficulty in obtaining glass for Viper...

I ordered a windshield from Safeiite. They ordered it from a local dealer and had it within a few days.

its true for the front atleast, I had to replace my fronts and used the fiat

The 15-17 charger one looks similar. I’ll look into that when I get time.

I bought Fiat ones and they are the exact same! Look on Ebay, they are usually on there.

They have different OEM part numbers, but I'm pretty sure they are the same size. The difference is the rear is a red lens and the front is orange IIRC. I put the clear front and rear markers on my car a couple years ago. If you look in the "how to" section, I did a write up.
