I enjoy him as well. He was doing a cross-country drive road testing that car when he spotted my orange TA in downtown Nashville back in 2015. He ended up writing an article about it. Pretty cool stuff!

The first few minutes...they sound like a couple wimps. Miss 2-3 in a Vette? It has the same damn tranny and that is the easiest shift on both cars. Sorry but these two guys are sissies.

You really have to be selective for sure...and Carlos Lago keeps reinforcing that decision for me, first with Motor Trend and now with Edmunds. Such a light weight, but others may think the opposite.

It seems many reviewers are unable to focus on the aspects that are important to the buyers of cars that aren't created with a cookie cutter, and I was encouraged to see him start to show at least some appreciation for the Viper that has been sadly lacking in the past.

I have been enjoying my car more and more. I live in Detroit, streets are shitty and the car is such a pleasure to drive. I have the TA lowered on aftermarket caps but stepped up to a 285/35 front tire. It was my own way of decreasing the wheel gap but retaining ride height. Worked out perfect. I have grazed the front splitter plastic wear plates on a few occasions but by being careful I have avoided all major concerns. The car is so low yet perfect for getting around rougher patches. Love this thing. I daily my car now and if you can get over the limited access/egress, it is super comfortable to drive around all day.

^ That sounds like a good lowering and tire strategy for the street to maintain clearance and if a guy had regular front track wheels and tires that would provide advantages of lowering for that use. Nice!

I don't regularly daily mine but couldn't agree more about comfort on the long road trips we've taken where we've been in it for 7-8.5 hours per day on back to back days. There's more comfortable sports cars,
but my Vette friends agree with what they say... if you want a Cadillac buy a Corvette, lol.

agreed the typical car mags can be homers for european cars in general i thought this particular review was a fair representation on many points. suprising when so many have been so obviously. seemingly pre-written before the car is actually reviewed.
