Gen IV Upgraded Radio/ GPS Unit

I have a 08 vert with a stock rb1 radio/gps unit. System seems dated and now would like to purchase a upgraded unit. Any recommendations?

In the forums, someone recently posted some pics of their Double DIN conversion with full GPS screen/stereo/etc. I would check that option out. It looks factory and offers unlimited options if you are wanting GPS/Nav capability.

Check with Dan at Viper specialty, seems he has developed a way to install a Mygig (great Chrysler nav radio system)in a Gen 3,4.. I have the RB1 with Ipod. Yes its dated. The Gen V system is amazing. Have the same one in my Jeep, wish someone would develop a retro install for Gen 3/4.....Good luck !
