I was cleaning some things out of my childhood/parents house, since it sold. Found these pictures in an old desk I had. I was 12 when I took these pics, I’m 34 now........
This Viper addiction has been happening for a long time!! Also, probably the first picture I ever took of the GTS.

I say...Good for you, my friend.
Sometimes, it’s the little things that keep our memories fresh.
The “old times”, may they forever smell sweet.
There’s memor(y)abilia that no one else can ever have.

Great pics! It reminds me of when the Viper was first introduced I stood in line for half hour just to sit in one at the Mall of America in Minnesota.

I agree! I am sure I still have more of these elsewhere, just have to find them. That pick of the GTS, I am pretty sure it was behind a Dodge pick-up painted to match, pretty sure there was a thread about it on here.

Thank you sir! Yes, a different style back then.

I hear ya! I remember being that young and how excited I was when I first saw it in print, and then to go see it at the auto show! No other car has ever had that affect on me.

Yes, it is a true story, addicted since childhood. Bill, still crazy that after talking with you, you were the one who ordered my GTS back in the day!!! You wouldn't by chance have any original pictures from back then when these were delivered to your dealer? Would be cool to think I could find an original pic of my car from back then!

No , no pictures from back then , but I loved the Steel Gray and we seemed to have the mother lode of them , as I ordered them in boatloads. I think we did 4-5 custom striped models as we could not get them from the factory with stripes. I remember a guy from Amgen ( in California ) who took one of the Steel Grays to a major car show out there , right after we sold it to him ( with our custom stripes ) and he won " Best of Show!" I still love that color , as it has such a cool tinge to it in the Sun.

Agreed, this is my favorite color next to the blue/white GTS. In speaking with you I think they only made 240ish in this color, GTS, w/stripes, from the factory?

We got quite a few with stripes , but demand was even higher and some guys wanted them blended into the paint -- no lines. We did that on most of them.

Haha, we all are. I was just thinking about this. That blue and white in the pic, on the trailer, was the original concept vehicle. I saw this EXACT car at the closing cermeony when I went with my own Viper.
That's CRAZY to think about, only took me 23 years to see it again!
