Has anyone installed a rear wing on their SRT or GTS? Can you upload any pictures? I currently own a 13 SRT with GT and Track pack, want to get a wing for it. I see there are limited options on the market now, would like to hear advice from you all.

Autoform is working on a GenV wing.

So is APR Performance. From the image they sent me they appear close to release.

You also need to find a way to add support to the rear deck, unless you get a 2015+ rear desk which is reinforced.

If you want to go all out and have something even more functional than the ACR factory wing check these out- https://aeromotions.com/
I talked to them for awhile, they are very responsive to emails. I ended up not going that route because I didn't want to have to worry about being in a class where active aero was banned/penalized on the track.

I ordered one from them, it Will be installed next month

You can always set it up to be static, best of both worlds..

You ordered one from Aeromotions? Which one did you get? They were going to make me a custom one, much bigger than what they have on the shelf.

Did they custom make the wing uprights? Did they have a car to prototype the mounting?

Yea they built me a much larger wing to spec

The mounts for Uprights are custom by another shop that's setting up my car with a bunch of other upgrades...

Will post details once done in April

I had talked with them years ago about doing a wing on my 06 but I never pulled the trigger. That's when I lived in MA. I could have taken the car to them so they could have done the uprights and set it up properly. Should'a done it. Did you go with a split wing where both sides act independently in a turn or did you go with the single piece?

Single since it was not an off the shelf wing

Man I can't wait to see this. Don't disappear and not post pics when it's done! Do you track this car?

@kriskyk or richardtys, what are your plans to address the front aero?

Splitter and Canards

@kriskyk or richardtys, what are your plans to address the front aero?

This wont be as much of an issue with the active aero as it would be a massive fixed wing like the ACR wing. Even at full downforce the aeromotive wing wont have near the downforce as the ACR wing, and going into turns the aeromotive wing downforce is even less as it works it's magic.
He could get away with 2.0 style splitter. I'd be much more concerned with shocks and spring rates.

Splitter and Canards

As in my other post I think you could get away with 2.0 front splitter style from Xtreme Supercars.
I'd be more concerned with shocks and spring rates. Your car has 200 lb front and 500 lb rear you are going to need to go to around 500 front, 900-1000 rear. You don't need as much spring as the ACR as your downforce in high speed straights will be minimal when the wing flattens.

Yep running MCS 600 / 800 lbs springs and shocks

I wonder if they could just make custom mounts to swap in for the stock ACR wing uprights. Fully active ACR aero...

The ACR stanchions are around $5K.

Great prices. That doesn't come with the end plates or the stanchions, I couldn't find them on there at all..
