I've had my car over 8 years and been through some hellacious downpours and never leaked a drop.

Seems like I should reseal the top and was looking for product recommendations. Will Scotchguard work?

That is also a good product. I've used it too.

Just clean the top before you seal.

i hate to say it but the water repel stuff just like my 3m scottguard. use that instead. a lot easier to find. get yourself a boar brush to loosen up any debris. I'm betting a gentle soap based cleaner like j&j shampoo diluted with water and brush will do wonders. I bought the kit and when i went to spray the repellent on i felt ripped off. After washing a key thing to do is drying it properly. DO NOT USE A BLOWER on the top. Get some good big ass microfiber from autogeek or chemical guys and dab the top dry. When u wash the top with the brush, u agitate the and loosen the dirt gently. doesn't take much. then wash it down and dry. if you see dirt on the dry then you repeat the process. Then once completely dry, 3m scotch guard and you are done. there is a guy in NYC on youtube that does a great write up on how it is done. Then there is also junkman2000 who has detailing tricks too.
